Do you think there are still women out there who still love the game? Well, the latest futsal tournament organized by Redbutterfly showed pretty much that football or futsal is very much alive among female athletes. It’s just a shame that venues are becoming more and more limited to have tournaments at.

Back to the Redbutterfly Female Futsal which took place today, 11th June, 2006. As many as 19 teams, if I’m not mistaken, took part in the one day futsal competition. I lost my lil booklet where I made lil doodles and jotted down important information, I think I left it at JayKayAr. So I’m just gonna have to play this by ear and apologies if I may have forgotten any teams which participated today. It is far from intentional if not all teams are mentioned here.

I don’t really remember much of the morning games, because our team only came by around 11ish since our matches weren’t due to start til 11:30. So I’ll just be talking abt our group standings and more details on the quarterfinals, semifinals as well as finals.

Sirens vs XCalibre
A good game where we won 1-0. Thanks to Chuchu for that brilliant boosting start to the game. XCalibre.. have we ever played them before? Well, anyway we ended that match with no more goals for or against. By the way our games in Round 1 was all played with Ebih as keeper. More on her later.
Sirens 1 – 0 Xcalibre

Sirens vs Redbutterfly
Going against the host of the tournament was like going against Germany in the World Cup, of course it was mentally straining as the cheers from the supporters were deafening. But we managed to win another goal but it wasn’t until full time when I found out it was an own goal. A big disappointment to the home team but bola itu bulat.
Sirens 1 – 0 Redbutterfly

Sirens vs Innocence
Now this game, we were told to be very cautious as Innocence was fast, good dribblers and never seemed to tire. So it was just as well that we managed to maintain no goals against us. It was a defensive match for us.

Quarterfinals
The first quarterfinal match was played between Dragonfly A and Fusion. A heated match especially with two of the hardhitting teams we’ve seen in ladies footie. It was hard to say who’s game it was because both were attacking equally. Defense wise, both teams were excellent which is no wonder that the match went into extra time of 3 minutes but not even that could stop the inevitable penalty shootout. I can’t remember the final penalty shootout score so you’ll just have to take my word for it that Fusion moved on to the Semis while DF-A had to pack up their bags.

Risoneri met Innocence in the quarters. I didn’t manage to catch this match but suffice it to say Risoneri beat out Innocence to go through to the semis.

The 3rd quarterfinal match was played between JPG and Dragonfly B. I guess everyone was expecting Dragonfly B to get through since they’d be more motivated to at least have one team in the semis. But this probably only made JPG play even harder. And there effort paid off as they played their way all the way to the semis!

The final quarterfinal match was between Sirens and Laviosa. By this time we managed to get back our 1st keeper – Juju and could give a relieved Ebih a well-deserved rest and a chance to show off some of her skills on the field.

Ebih – much thanks to you for agreeing wholeheartedly to play 2nd keeper for the 1st round. Your contribution and effort we will not forget ever. I think the Sirens owe much thanks to you for selflessly sacrificing to play a position which you had never played before in a competitive match. So three cheers for our Ebih everyone! Aneng.. your sister did us proud!

Back to the game…now we’ve played Laviosa once during a friendly futsal game. So, we remembered they had an excellent goalie and the rest of their players were skillful as well. Both teams didn’t have any finishing and as the match went into extra time, thoughts of the penalty shootout was just around the corner. The penalty shootout miraculously ended in Sirens favour! Sirens through to the semis.

Seminfinals
Fusion meets with Risoneri. Both sister teams as some familiar Fusion faces were playing on the other team as well, so it was interesting to see who would bring it home. Risoneri was able to beat out fellow Fusion players to secure a spot in the finals.

As for Sirens they had to contend with JPG who were to me, the stronger team on the court. Their passing was accurate and speed wasn’t a problem for them too. Sirens maintained solid defense but there was just not finishing. Extra time was over once again and the gloom of another penalty shootout was on the heads of these two teams. But lady luck must’ve been smiling on the Sirens today as they also sealed their spot in the finals.

For the 3rd place, the match took place between Fusion and JPG where JPG took the 3rd place spot. A bonus for JPG also for claiming the Most Goals Scored Throughout the Tournament going to their Jersey #11 player. Congrats.

F I N A L S
Sirens vs Risoneri
A total of 14 minutes was played. The opponent’s goalie was just too good. Sirens had so many chances but those iron gloves just would not let through a Sirens goal. A spectator commented much later that if there was an award for best keeper, it would certainly have gone to Roseli’s goalie. Since no goals were being made, extra time came… and went. Once again we were left in the hands of lady luck where our regular penalty takers faced fate again. Sayang – missed but wasn’t heartbroken about it – probably the benefit of going 1st – less pressure. Alai blasted it in – that’s 3 times in a row. Kai – missed but Ebih scored. And finally our own Juju saved the day to bring home the RedButterfly trophy home to Sirens soil!

And on behalf of our Sirens, I ask of your forgiveness if at any point we spoke or acted harshly so much so that we hurt your feelings. You are our teachers, and far be it for us to act inconsiderately and unappropriately. You guys have always been the very best coaches we have ever had the pleasure to work with.

Now, I, Sudu must bow out and leave this glorious night and tuck it away in my most happiest memory files. Sirens, it was a pleasure playing with you.

It saddens me that people have to move on. It saddens me that with every new beginning at some point in time it must reach an ending. Life is full of surprises, but one that shouldn't surprise us much but can nevertheless still send shockwaves through our very core is that - the human heart can change it's mind in a blink of an eye.

When you're at your happiest, do you ever wonder when this blissful moment might come to an end? Well, I don't because all I know is I must cherish the most happiest moments of life. Because you can never re-live those moments. No matter how hard you try to get it back.

I've had many happy moments in my lifetime. And the sad ones, just as many. But it is these happy ones which I shall forever embed in my mind, for years to come. I hope to know you all til the end of my existence on this earth, because a person can be defined by the friendships they have nurtured throughout their life. But if at some point our paths turn away from each other, then I am privileged to have been able to walk side by side with you if only for a portion of life's journey. But, I am certain our paths will cross each other once again, if only for a short while, but like every long journey, a traveller will welcome the familiar faces of those once called friends.

I don't regret, I only cherish.

On a different note,
This Sunday marks our participation in yet another tournament. Our first as a team for a futsal category. So, to all that still remember the old joys, please come and support us this Sunday at JKR Futsal Court. Our first match will begin sometime after 11:30.

A whole 2 days away from here makes Sudu a very unhealthy bunny. Went on a teambuilding course with the rest of the office mates. Shahbandar and then back to the modern world of Sheraton. My first time overnighting there and the place wasn't bad, wasn't bad at all.

We became pretentious tourists, dining in the hotel and then strolling around the city. Well, that sentence is half true. We didn't quite manage to play out the entire role of a would-be tourist. Our 'stroll around the city' was actually a 15 minute drive to the heart of the city in search for 3-in-1 Milo Fuze drinks which we soon found in one of the kedai runcits scattered among the old city buildings.

By Friday - the last day of our teambuilding activities we managed to get to the padang 'on time' well as on time as I could ever be. And broke the news to the other players - the rest of the players that didn't know about it that is.

There will be a Red Butterfly tournament this 11th of June.

Competition hours: 8am - 10pm.. that's 8 in the MORNING til 10 in the EVENING so basically you're committing to one full day of fun with balls.

Training will be Monday & Tuesday beginning 5pm until approximately 7pm at Indoor, and Friday afternoons at PHQ - usual time.

There are still available slots on the tournie team so if you feel you want to have a chance to be selected for the team please join the training sessions so the coaches and evaluate your fitness/stamina/readiness to play in a competitive tournament.

This is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity viewing how rare a tournament like this will be open to people who wear bras so my advice: take up this rare chance to shine on the court.

Bulanz, when are you coming home again? Sorry for being a lil bibiranz.. am just wondering.

Over The Hedge
Now that was a tickle-me-n-laugh kinda movie... it had everything. Romance, drama, mystery, action, suspense, the good guys, the bad guys, the bad guys who became the good guys, the good buys who became the bad guys (for a while) and DEATH... lots of DEATH!

We watched in a cinema choc-full of kids. The kids all loved it, at least that's what I deduced from the child-like giggles from all around us. Unless those child-like giggles were really coming from grown-up adults who happened to have child-like laughter. Not so cute anymore..

LOST
If you haven't watched all the way to episode 20 then stop reading. Spoilers ahead!!!

I have watched til I can watch no more! Well.. temporarily plg saja.. I'm stil waiting for the continuation. One thing I hate abt these shows is that they ALWAYS end on 'cliff-hangers'.. I know they do it to keep us hooked but why why would they make Michael shoot off Ana and Libby??? What happened to Michael?? What did The Others do to him while he was with them, assuming of course Michael was with them. But from what he described to Jack and Kate.. it didn't sound like he was with them. Eh antah eh.. I think I've been reading too much LOST forums. YES... my life is sad ok... and YES I read LOST forums.. ever since my friends at work told me to check out the theories which have already been posted by others around the world. Coma theories, Purgatory theories, live experiment theories... all been discussed and some have been proven wrong whilst others.. well we'll just have to wait and see!

The old rooster takes off running. About 15 seconds later the young rooster takes off running after him. They round the front porch of the farmhouse and the young rooster has closed the gap. He is only about 5 feet behind the old rooster and gaining fast.

The farmer, meanwhile, is sitting in his usual spot on the front porch when he sees the roosters running by. He grabs his shotgun and...BOOM...he blows the young rooster to bits.

The farmer sadly shakes his head and says, "Damn.....third gay rooster I bought this month."

Moral of this story? ... Don't mess with OLD FARTS - age, skill, and treachery will always overcome youth and arrogance!

you have read the book and now u must see the movie. i recommend people to watch da vinci code. its a good movie. the book and the movie most people say are of equivalent rates which is A+. i have heard that in brunei its banned. well for sure, because of the religious facts that it has. my opinion for that action is crap! come on lah, be open minded for once, why do u want to shut it out from people, dvd nya inda jua kana banned. sama jua urg bali. kalo catu might as well show it. inda ja? each and one of us has different belief to the facts of religion. christians belief nya cana, us muslims cana and jews cana. no point lah pokok nya.

I was sitting beside My Man yesterday. Then came his best mate asking me out of nowhere what team im supporting for the upcoming World Cup.

Nonchalantly i answered, "France".

today today today.. everything went normal not until my management lecturer said that there will be an exam for those who FAILED their management assignments. the subject is an all-assignment based subject tho. but to sit for the exam is going to be HARD. doing the assignments udah menyakitkan badan. bukan saja kepala but every part of the body. he hasnt marked our class's papers yet but he said other classes have a fail rate udah. eeeeeee. ijap ku. parai ni yo. BUT hopefully everything goes well and that we all dont go and sit for the exam. AMINNNN...

besides that, i'm also busy with assignments. i have to design, present and report on a board game! punya nya payah mikir kan. and has to be related to the topic assigned. eeeeeeee. stress ku! i want to get over this all and just head home. YAY!! cant wait to head homeeeee.. i dont like being stress coz kalo aku stress aku jadi kuat makan and makes me gained a ton weight. eeeeee. some people said pandai2 saja control tapi mun udah makanan atu nyaman dapan mata, what to do??? makan lah!! kan?? hehe. it takes will power and effort. hehe. cam banar. kalo banar dibuat baik jua.

Rijkaard keeps Gunners guessing

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard will not decide if Lionel Messi will play in the Champions League final against Arsenal until the day of the game.

Messi has been one of Barcelona's most creative influences and has played a significant role in his team's run to a second straight Primera Liga title and a European final but he has been sidelined of late with a thigh injury.

The Argentinian international trained this evening with the rest of his team-mates and is praying that he will be selected.

But Rijkaard has the young striker and Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger guessing on the eve of the big showdown.

'I will wait until tomorrow to name the 18 players,' said Rijkaard.

'We still have one training session, including Messi and we will have to wait and see what happens. We are all happy that Leo is improving.'

With or without Messi, Rijkaard is upbeat about his team's chances.

'We have a lot of confidence in ourselves,' said the 43-year-old coach.

'Tomorrow's game is not only important for the club but for the players and for the Barca fans.

'We know we have to play a great game against a very good side in order to win tomorrow.'

Barca have lost three of their four European finals and their only victory in this competition dates back to 1992.

However, Rijkaard insists the past is all forgotten.

'The fact that Barca hasn't won that much in its history is not a heavy burden,' he said.

Rijkaard, who won the competition with both AC Milan and Ajax as a player, believes that fortune plays a big part in achieving success.

'Basically, you have to score one more goal than your rivals, as simple as that,' he said.

'All I want is that my players show how they can play, nothing more, nothing less.'

Barca may have beaten Chelsea earlier in this competition but Rijkaard believes Wednesday's game will be a different challenge altogether.

He said: 'A final is a unique occasion. You cannot compare Arsenal and Chelsea.

'It's true that they are both very strong teams.

'Chelsea has proved to be a super team in England while Arsenal are playing at a high level with lots of youngsters.'

Rijkaard admits he has been at awe with what Wenger has managed to achieve this season, taking the Gunners all the way to their first European final.

'I am an admirer of Wenger,' he said.

'I think he has done a great job.'

Rijkaard's biggest concern is whether his team will be able to break the Gunners' defensive wall.
Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in the last 10 Champions League encounters.

'It says a lot that they have only conceded two goals in the whole competition,' said Rijkaard.

'Results have gone their way and this has given their players a lot of confidence.

'But this is a final and it's going to be very interesting.'

More so, considering that Wenger's side will come up against the best attacking force in the competition, with Barca having struck 22 times in Europe this season.

'My players are very excited, motivated and very united,' said Rijkaard.

However, the Dutch manager is unhappy with the fact his team have been handed the favourites tag.

'To think that we are favourites to win would be a great error,' said Rijkaard.

'Everything starts with being humble and we know we have to go for them from the first minute.'

Rijkaard revealed he would not change his tactics in order to stop Arsenal captain Thierry Henry's attacking threat.

'Henry is a great player,' he said.

'But we cannot change everything for just one player.'

2. Fitness routines are to be done on your own time. Perhaps you can call up a couple of your friends and go jogging around the stadium to maintain fitness and build up your stamina.

3. There will be no more msgs sent out to players to remind them of footie sessions as Mondays and Fridays will automatically be footie days for those still interested in playing with us.

n/b:Msgs will only be sent out should there be any changes in days or times for footie.

4. Should there be any issues or queries to be raised regarding any of the above or other general issues/complaints regarding individuals please raise them to the manager of the team as this is the best possible route for any player to try and smooth out any unresolved issues.

5. As common courtesy if you believe you will be absent from a footie session, please do inform another Siren. The rule of thumb is, if there are not enough players coming, footie sessions will be cancelled for that day.

6. Our manager Balkis will be MIA for this month attending to family functions. But I'm sure if there are any unresolved player issues she won't mind to hear from you yourself. If you do not have her contact number you may contact me to get it. But I'm sure you all have Balkis' number.

7. Please remind all other Sirens who do not regularly read here on the above meeting results. If they do not wish to attend any more footie sessions with us because of school/work/family/love commitments, that is alright. Because school/work/family/love commitments are higher priorities.

8. New members are welcome.

I have no mangerial role within Sirens, I just thought a discussion was in need to clarify a few matters. It's been a while since we sat down and talked about team issues. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, so don't be afraid to say whatever yours is. No one is more senior than anyone else in this team. Everyone is the same. But we do try to promote a respectful relationship among players.

I asked for more info on the futsal tourney and guess what...it's for men only! They wanted to do open it for girls too but they were advised against it. I guess it's cos they want to publicise it since it's to raise money for SMARTER and there would probably be a big hoo-haa if they opened it to women too.

Amal of Fusion said to please come and watch/support/donate though on that day cos it's for a good cause.

I know you're all hampa. So why not go kick some balls masa training instead and maybe 1 day there will be enough people to play a friendly game again! It's all up to you girls...there's no team without each and every1 of u.

Objective of this Futsal Tourney is to raise awareness and fund for SMARTER (Autism kids in Brunei) and at the same time having fun & doing charity for life. We need to support SMARTER. They are lack of resources and money to pay for therapists. If there's not enuff funding for SMARTER by August 2006, they have to close down. Quite a handful made it to yesterdays ball bashing session. I was quite late yesterday but you'll have to excuse the overwhelming amount of road I had to drive through yeseterday to get to the field, so excuse my tardiness. It's not like I was late on purpose, my car is only a small car, it can't go 180/km/hr as I would like it to. So many apologies if I inconvenienced anyone, God forbid that's the last thing I would want to do to anyone. *Horror of horrors*

*I just deleted a whole paragraph because it was inappropriate. I wrote that paragraph in a heated moment and I was angry but now I'm not. So I've deleted that paragraph.*

OK.. so yesterday was really fun. A relaxed version of training, thank God. We played a 3-on-3 game and my team won haha antah wah I didn't keep score wah! Krg marah team sbalah. The weather was just nice, not too hot and it wasn't so bad it rained either. It was just nice.

The triplets were exhausted after competing in the triathlon (is that what it's called?) so kudos to them! Oops, correction.. 2 of our triplets competed (so that would make them what? Twins?!?), one just went along for the ride.

Coach Yup came to "train" us but he ended up playing as well. My GarFu was a stick in the mud (haha)coz he didn't bring his footie gear even tho I told him he could play wif us. And kelurusan cia Mr Drem inda jua datang..maybe that's why GarFu didn't wanna play hehe he malu hehe just kidding.

Well, it would've been fun if the others came.. dun worry tho, sprints and stairs will be waiting for you lazybums muahahaha *did that sound evil enough*

Oh, GarFu's team is through to Round 2 in the Liga Daerah. Kudos to them. They had a great 2nd half beginning yesterday. I was like, bangang berabis. If you can just picture this ah. The opponents position were the same as when the whistle blew to start the 2nd half but Garfu's left winger was already running level to the defense line chasing the ball. If he could've just crossed the ball nicely, it would've been the fastest 2nd half goal I've ever seen! Priceless look on the opponent's last man.

My feet were itching to play. Two Sunday's already I've watched them play and I want to put on my boots and play with them too... I AM SO FREAKING SAD

And whole lot of memories came rushing and almost crushing my brain by the power of it all. That was a little too dramatic wasn't it, but did I get your attention? I did, didn't I? Yesterday inda jadi training, so we were supposed to go to the Old River but Chuchu said it was raining earlier so inda jadi coz takut the hill would be slippery (when wet... d'uh Sudu), right so Drem suggested just go to stadium dalam (indoor) to 'stroll' as some would say. Ended up me n Scurry yg strolling and the other three jogging. We chat long time, about this about that. Usually stories that didn't have any ending LOL but mostly just catching up.

I wonder if other girls teams are feeling the pinch right now like we are? I wonder if we could join forces LOL may the force be with you. So it's pretty much died down now. And you can pretty much see the spoils of the war.. those still fighting and trying to survive.

NAIL IN THE FENCE

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. Happy belated birthday Coach Gnol! (ia membaca jua kah ni blog ani??? hehe)

Thank you soo much for all the birthday wishes, here and via sms. It was nice to be woken up (albeit way too early for me on a Friday..hehehe) by the sound of messages on my fone and reading all the bday msgs with 1 eye open, grinning, then continuing my sleep! Hehehehe! I can’t believe both Bulan and Sudu put up that pic with my silly face from futsal! Did you know I share my birthday with Queen Elizabeth II?? (She actually has 2 birthdays, her real one and an official one and I think mine is her official one. Dunno y she’s given 2 days to get bday presents, it’s a bit greedy if u ask me!)

Been meaning to blog here, but hadn’t got round to it till now, maybe cos it’s hard for me to announce to every1 else (besides the ones that already know from when I told them after training a few weeks ago). Anyway….I have resigned as manager of the team (sorry Mun!). It wasn’t an easy decision and those close to me know just how long it took me to finally do it. I still love the team LOADS, especially when I think about all that we went through to make the team what it is today (although more on that later!). Balkis is still there though so the team is in safe hands. It isn’t easy managing the team, esp on your own, so please please please try to make it easier for Balkis ok.

Eventhough I am not managing the team anymore, I am still taking interest on what’s going on though. When there is supposed to be training I still always ask Balkis how many ppl turn up and who. So it’s been really disappointing when I hear inda ramai yang datang training/actually do training. There is no team if only 3-5 ppl are there for training, and it’s not fair on the ones that do turn up when the rest of the team don’t come cos payah jua kan training mun inda ramai ada. So please can every1 make an effort to come to training cos the continued existence of the team depends on you, the players. Pebaik tah ada manager, ada coaches, ada goalie plus maybe 3 players, alum jua dpt main tu! If you can’t come for training masa ani, gtau sja Balkis. Every1 has other commitments, atu difahami tu and it’s ok, but gtau sja. If you can’t come for a long period of time like you’re busy with work/school for the next few weeks, gtau saja. It’s just out of courtesy that u shd tell Balkis kah, Juju kah, coaches kah. I know they r hampa when they make the time to go to training skali no-one else does, I know I used to feel like that.

*So please don’t let the rest of your team-mates down. Don’t let this team which we worked so hard to create just disappear.*

Middle-Eastern Women Get Competitive
Anyway, been awhile since I blogged.. so here I am. Anyone catch the Arab Women's Footie game last night on Astro Channel 5? Drem messaged us last night. Tarus ku swith on TV.. teranah ku duduk tarus. Eh kan main ku eh... the whole commentary was in Arabic.. so the only words I recognised were the names of the players. There was a Mariam, Dahlia, Jacqeline hahahah nada nama-nama mcm tani hahaahah...

A Good Meal
Oh I'd just like to advert a good friend of mine, C'nah punya Nasi Bungkus. Tadi I buy from her 15 bungkus - ada daging and ada ayam - nyamaaaan. And the presentation pun cute. I asked for nasi bungkus wrapped in daun pandan. And they wrapped it so that we could see a lil of the isi so we could tell which one was daging and which ones were ayam. That made it easier for ppl to choose which one's they preferred.

Smells Like Team Spirit
OK.. most of us are going through some changes so things aren't as they used to be. But hopefully with a lil patience and persistence we can get back on our feet and bring this team back where it once was. I know alot of people are trying their best and it's very very much appreciated. So let's try to get this team back on track but to do that we need everyone's effort.

Let's not point any fingers, because slipping into the blaming culture never is a good idea as I have myself personally experienced this and from the bottom of my heart I apologise if anyone has suffered from my actions and behaviour. I am the first one to admit I am not perfect. So, far be it for me to point out another person's weakness and although I have done it in the past it was prolly in a moment of heatedness debate and discussion but hate has never remained in my heart.

Sirens will always have a special place in my heart and I hope that's the same for you guys as well. I've always been proud of the way we can stick with each other like a family does. But as a family would, there are times when we would bicker but I hope our bond has remained strong enough throughout these years (or months in some cases) so that we can bounce right back up and accept each other despite our faults and moments of weaknesses.

So I can hope all of us can put aside our differences and be one big happy family again. Put aside our negativity and make an effort. Because the worse thing a person could ever do is TO NOT TRY AT ALL.

Four hours of futsal wasn’t that tiring after all now was it girls? A total of 12 Sirens came including 2 imports from Ozzy Stars – The Alai and The Sayang. Well done to those ladies that got there on time.

Thank you Balkis for lending us the fabulous blue jerseys. Sirens looked good out there in blue (now ani baru kes memuji diri sendiri). But honestly, the jerseys were lawa!

Femes FC - a team which I was told played competitively recently in the last Futsal tournie. They seem to be a pretty new team, however like most other teams they have a secret weapon. And that is their Jersey #12 aka The Tudung.

The Tudung can sure whack that ball into oblivion. She came pretty late (kind of like our own keeper – but she was sick ok) so nobody knew the team’s potential yet. But when she came on – it was into the 3rd game of the night – and I had earlier told Juju confidently that she won’t have to do much in the keeper area. How wrong I was! The Tudung also just came and was put into that same game wif Juju and imagine Juju’s face when The Tudung kept on shooting and shooting and shooting!

Well, wasn’t my fault haha as we were as shocked as Juju was. Wasn’t even sure when and how she came in!

Our Sirens did pretty well! Divided up into teams of three groups, we played a total of 8 games. Apologies to the 3rd group as they missed out on the 3rd round of matches due to insufficient time. Hopefully next time we’ll have more play time among us.

We managed to score in all the games although the best game was played by Team A – consisting of Aneng, Khai, Zara, Sayang and Noi as Keeper (uhuk uhuks). They managed to score a total of 6 goals – hat trick from our abang, a terrific two from The Star and a debut score from our one and only Sayang (courtesy of Ozzy Stars FC that is, don’t want people thinking we’re poaching other players now do we?) But Femes FC did manage to break their unlucky streak by scoring one of their own. Kudos to them!

n/b: BTW Balkis, can't return ur jerseys yet until Friday ya..

Minit ke 41 gol penyamaan menerusi sepakan penalti yang di buat oleh Rodrigo Tossi.

Pulau Pinang bangkit lagi (ala ala kuih bangkit yang aku expect si Bakis bawa pada hari sabtu ini ke Stadium Negara) selepas saja wisel separuh masa kedua bermula.

she's the man is very good to me. i dont know if its because it has the pretty boy actor or because its not like a typical teenage movie but whatever it is... i loveeee the movie.. i'll be catching it again next week.. woohoo! hehehe. anyways, its sunday morning and i'm in my room, filling up the blog with lil details of my life down here. i have loads to do actually today, got laundry to do, changing the bed covers, doing my assignment, theories to be read and friends marathon. hehe. oh not to forget food. hmmm.. what shud i get today? i just had nandos' smlm (yummy yummy) but i think i'll get it again today. liat lah mood cemana. its very very cold here lately. i guess the weather wants to skip autumn n just go ahead for winter tarus. i'm actually in the search of parkas, those puffy thick jackets, i'm doing it next weekend with a fellow friend. hehe. hopefully kami tecari. i'm quite picky when getting clothes, esp jacket, mesti ada hood, not those hanging jackets, no tights at the waist and at least it covers my bum. hehe. thats me, at certain times.

Today I found out ada orang ilang near our offices. Yesterday on our way home there were police officers, firemen, other security men with dogs. I thought they were looking for an escaped convict (the result of my imagination going on overdrive) but this morning, my colleague cerita one of the women working here punya father-in-law went out fishing Tuesday lunchtime. And hasn't come back. And he's about 80-years-old. Kasian ah!
Oh, did anyone watch CSI last night? Kasian ah? I was crying by the end of it. People can be so jahat sometimes. Even among their own community and friends. Banar tah tu, buat baik inda orang ingat sekajap saja.. tapi buat jahat orang ingat FOREVER...
And last night ada Grey's Anatomy.. I like that show! I like it a lot. I'm gonna go find the box set ASAP coz I know I can't catch it on TV every week. But I'm so bad at watching box sets, I don't seem to have the time to watch it. But I'm getting there.. slowly...

There will also be training on FRI AFTRN at PHQ.

CHITTAGONG: Brunei denied Nepal an easy passage into the quarter-finals with a surprising 2-1 victory in their Group B match here at the MA Aziz Stadium on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka is leading the group with six points, followed by Nepal and Brunei with three points each.

Brunei started aggressively and the tactic bore fruits in the 10th minute when Adie Mohammed Salleh headed home the opener on a Sallehuddin Damit corner. The lead boosted the players’ confidence and captain Riwandi Wahit doubled the advantage in the 42nd minute on a freekick from Sallehuddin.

Brunei were leading 2-0 at the breather.

Nepal’s Tashi Tsering reduced the deficit in the 60th minute when his header on a Lok Bandhu Gurung corner found the back of the net.

Nepal’s Surendra Bahadur Tamang’s freekick hit the post in the fourth minute while Brunei goalkeeper Azman Ilham Noor made brilliant save on a Bijay Gurung shot in the 35th minute. Nepal dominated the second half and made some beautiful moves but failed to find an equaliser.
Nepal coach Shyam Thapa blamed the defeat on his defenders. “It was our bad luck today. We dominated throughout the match and three of our shots hit the post. Despite this, my defenders conceded goals,” he said.

“I will motivate my players for the final game against Sri Lanka on April 6 and I have confidence in them that we can make it to the second round.”

Brunei coach Ali Haji Mustafa was elated with his team’s performance. “I am proud with this show today. Nepal played very good football but in the end result counts.”

ahuh ahuh ahuh! just felt like typing that. its like my new word besides saying yes. well it has always been. what am i talking about? no bull. no crap. hehe. sorry for the inappropriate words. may i note that my blog ani is for the viewing of 18 yrs and above only. haha. fuh-hah-ni! i havent been blogging due to.. hmm.. apa ah.. ahh.. yes.. because i've just had tests *phew* and also assignments to be done. one's like due next week and the other next mth. altho still long way to go i still need to get it started *BEP-lets get it started playing in my head* random random me. i've just got so many things on my mind. besides school and all.. i've got issues with ppl tia apa, which i soooo dont get what the problem is. ntah ah, i just get so bothered with lil matters which i shudnt care about. but thats just me. urg menyamal sikit pun jadi sakit kepala. oh well, i've gotten advices and opinions from others and its all the same. sigh. i might just have to go for it. thats about that..

hmm.. what else? everybody asks me what's new.. well nothing's new.. i dont see or to expect anything new with me because my days are just the same everyday except that i have been relentlessly spending money. everytime i see something nice and is within my reach, i'd grab it. i seriously need retail therapy. i've been reading that shopaholic book and its just sooo not helping. i have to seriously occupy loads of time to focus on my studies, not that i dont but i think its lacking. tsk tsk tsk. no good bulan. u know i dont get what u all working people miss abt school so much. is it because ure freelance and all u bother abt is assgnments and exams? hmm.. i'm just so stressed out thinking about school. maybe i'd understand how u all feel when i work. but for the time being, i just wana enjoy life as much as possible.

my mid term hols are coming up soon. i sooo wana go exploring melbourne. its only for a week though. but i really need the break from all the long lectures and the shrieking voices of lecturers. i wanted to go to sydney but orang2 atasan says no because.. hmm.. i actually dont know.. maybe because i mite be going w my indo mee frens and that thet dont know these people but.. oh well.. i'm not even going.. i want to go strawberry picking, walking through the maze.. have lunch at the gardens and just enjoy the scenary.. wahh.. it feels like summer hols plan but no.. its autumn.. ohh.. have i mentioned how cold it is now? its really cold. brrrr.. well not as cold as UK.. but its cold.. free air-cond utk bilik. hehe. now i can start wearing my thick jacket. oooo. its so comfy in that jacket but its just so annoying when u have to open it when u get into the shopping centre as it gets all warmed up tia apa. who cares.. aku pakai, aku punya masalah. hehe.

i think i'm starting to talk c**p again. i'll just end it here now. nanti2 tah. hehe. nanti2 as in next 2 to 3 weeks. hehe.

hey ya ppl! ok ok i know i have been missing.. awu drem! kami jadi workaholic... :( mcm org lain yg belayar kami yg sibuk bah disini ah.. mcm everybody dumps thier pending stuff on me! i know pulang kami position kami ani Administrative assistant n admin covers a WIDE range so i kinda got myself in this mess!! hahahaha nadawah! i'm lovin my job altho its overwhelming how much work they give me at times.. but i still enjoy it!!! hehehe

So everybody's back to training mcm biasa now huh.. i wander wat d appropriate parties feel about it.. hehehehe i will be busy this whole week going for my volleyball tournument so no hopes of seeing my face on d pitch anytime soon... eh n siok jua we play futsal last last last time atu ah.. hehehehe ok fine i did score an OWN goal!!! hahaha sorrry suds! i seriously tot it would deflect d other side not into our goal... hahahaha

Kami nda sampat blog tadi to say...KARANG PATANG ADA TRAINING AH! Usual time and place. We r going to go back to 'normal' now and we will have training Mon and Fri ptg d PHQ and maybe Weds mlm d indoor. I think i did mention this in my other post plg ah. But so anyway, TAKE NOTE!

Oh yes, we have also been offered to share padang with JPG on Sunday afternoons d JP. So what say u all? Do u girls want to train on Suday afternoons? Oh, you will have to pay for the padang though so it'll be $12.50 each time kali. So gtau kami wat u girls think ah.

Life is precious. I think there are so many things that are more important than some or most of the things that we are so engrossed with at the moment. We’re always intent on petty things that don’t really deserve the massive amount of attention that we always dedicate to it. But other things which ARE important we seem to be blind to. j

Sometimes life deals you a hard blow. But you’ll be a stronger person if you can just accept it and work your way around it. In the end, it’s about the choices you make. I think I’m starting to learn about the more important things in life. And it saddens me that I’ve been so blind in so many circumstances. I really hope to make things better after this.

Well done to our 3 stars, Juju, Aneng and Ebih for winning the Happy Family futsal tournament today with members of FocX! The team that won was actually called Star X cos it was a mixed team made up of our 3 Sirens and 5 FocXies. Sorry we couldn't enter our team into the tourny but we only found out about it after registration was closed when FocX asked if they could 'borrow' some players 3 days ago. Syg kan, but never mind, next time saja lagi.

Oh yes, and well done to Aneng for winning TOP SCORER! Wachaaaaaa! Our girls played SO well! They really worked hard and I know the team wouldn't have won if not for our girls. Pisan durang berabis main, tapi nda sia-sia lah kamu sakit badan, champion kali ah! So congrats to the 3 of u again!
